Purpose
Firstly, the foundation aims to support all suitable measures to combat cancer, in particular to promote cancer research, contributions to new therapies that are not covered by public health insurance, as well as medicines and the like. Beneficiaries are either individual patients or public as well as non-profit organizations that perform the above tasks. Second, the foundation aims to support and promote young or non-established cultural workers in the cantons of Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft. Beneficiaries are either individual artists or public as well as non-profit organizations that perform the above tasks. Thirdly, the foundation aims to support people in need in Switzerland in advance through no fault of their own, such as orphans, the sick or the disabled. Beneficiaries are either individual persons in need of support or public and non-profit organizations that perform the above social tasks.
