UTIL Stiftung
Purpose
(1) The foundation exclusively pursues charitable purposes, namely - taking the broadest sense of the word as a basis - in particular: i. the promotion and support of social entrepreneurship with the aim of creating training opportunities and creating or maintaining jobs for disadvantaged, disabled, sick or poor people in Asia; ii. support in the case of poverty, need and misery of poor, disabled, sick, elderly or young people, as well as people who are in need as a result of natural disasters; iii. providing support and assistance in the event of need, suffering and misery due to illness, including through financial support to obtain appropriate medical assistance and treatment; Promoting research and supporting medical projects to develop new treatments and prevent diseases, and provide educational opportunities in the field of disease prevention; IV. the promotion and support of healthy lifestyles for the benefit of the community, including through the financial support of projects and services aimed at educating and promoting the public with the aim of achieving healthier lifestyles and ultimately physical and mental well-being; supporting research and promoting healthy lifestyles; v. the promotion of education and training, including through the financial support of non-profit educational institutions and (other) non-profit organizations active in this field; the awarding of scholarships to members of non-profit educational institutions, as well as study grants and general financial assistance related to such scholarships; vi. the promotion and support of science, art and culture for the benefit of the general public; vii. the promotion and support of other non-profit organizations. (2) The Foundation can operate both in Switzerland and abroad. It is denominationally neutral and pursues neither commercial nor self-help purposes.
