Ursula Strebel-Stiftung
Purpose
The purpose of the foundation is to provide financial aid for the education of children, adolescents and young adults from financially weak backgrounds in the founding cantons of the Swiss Confederation, Uri, Schwyz and Unterwalden (consisting of Obwalden and Nidwalden). Upon request, the foundation helps those affected directly through one-off or recurring support contributions, assumption of training costs, costs for specialist literature and training material, contributions to travel expenses, accommodation and meals for training outside the canton of residence or by means of interest-free training loans that are repayable after employment, the repayment rates and duration tailored to the personal circumstances after taking up employment. The Board of Trustees can, at its own discretion, waive the partial or full repayment of training loans. Analogous to Paragraph 2, the Foundation can support or finance further training for beneficiaries in accordance with Paragraph 1 in the same way. The foundation can also support other institutions and third party actions with the stated objectives.
