TICINESE ACADEMY OF SCENIC ARTS

Let me introduce myself, I am Valentina Cutolo-Rampazzi co-founder and creator of ATAS, a certified ballet teacher from the Royal Academy of Dance in London (one of the most important ballet companies in the world), as well as a ballet dancer. I have accumulated a decade of experience as a ballet teacher, preparing 13- 19 year olds to enter the professional world of Dance and Performing Arts with 100% success as well as preparing 4-19 year olds for the Royal Academy of Dance amateur, semi-professional and professional exams always with 100% success. My long experience within Danielle Brunner's school The Moving Factory has allowed me to consolidate excellent knowledge about the effective and functional management of a Dance school, both on a practical and bureaucratic level, and today I feel I have the physical and organisational potential to launch myself into the sector with a new proposal that will not only offer dance, but will unite all the performing arts under one roof.

Accademia di Arti Sceniche Ticinesi is a project that was born about five years ago in an undefined manner and takes shape today. From the union of three siblings, Valentina (dancer), Veronica (actress), Emanuele (musician) and other valid collaborators, a well-thought-out school is taking shape, with an innovative composition as well as a well-thought-out range of services, and a young and proactive team that will carry the project forward.

Working relationships will materialise through fixed-term/indefinite-term hires and collaborations. There will be different teachers for the various disciplines and external collaborators for workshops, marketing, social media and website management.

SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES

ATAS is the first performing arts academy in Ticino for adults, young people and children from 3 years of age that brings together dance, theatre and music in one location. We hope to become an extracurricular and extrawork structure that can offer high-level activities and training for all those who want to work and develop new skills in the field of the performing arts. We offer well-defined curricula at pre-professional level in most areas, as well as courses of a more playful nature suitable for keeping mind and body active. We are in the process of setting up our premises in Locarno, which will consist of four professionally equipped rooms for sports and music, an atrium, three changing rooms with showers, two bathrooms and two locker sections.

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

ATAS offers courses in classical dance, modern dance, break dance, jazz, singing and acting courses, instrument courses, music production courses, theory and solfege and a professional recording studio. Our services come in the form of predefined packages depending on the direction the customer wishes to take, as well as packages that can be customised if a pre-professional route is not desired. In addition, we have the possibility of subletting the spaces we set up to third parties, thus generating additional income for us.
