Stiftung Wegelin-Legat
Purpose
Voluntary granting of one-off or periodic support services to needy citizens of the City of St. Gallen as well as non-profit institutions with their headquarters or area of activity in the City of St Gallen, in particular by paying contributions to training and further education or retraining; Female and male descendants of the donors of the legacy, also provided that they are in need, remain eligible to apply, even if they are not citizens of the city of St. Gallen; Applicants must provide relevant proof of parentage; The Board of Trustees takes into account whether applicants correspond in their basic attitude and lifestyle to the Christian image of man. As far as the net income of the foundation cannot be used for the above main purpose, the foundation supports cultural institutions in the city of St. Gallen in the sense of a secondary purpose. In no case do legal claims exist and cannot be granted by the Board of Trustees; Foundation has a charitable character and does not pursue any profit-making purpose.
