The foundation wants to contribute to contemporary cultural creation by promoting all aspects of computer music. The foundation wants to contribute to the fact that the tension between technology and culture is not only experienced as negative, but that it can also be a fruitful source for a rich artistic activity that needs to be supported and promoted. For this purpose, training and work opportunities in the field of computer music are to be created. The aim of the foundation is to make this attitude and the works that emerge from it known and familiar to the broadest possible audience. Subsidies, donations and scholarship funds are intended to enable course attendance and work opportunities regardless of personal financial strength. No tasks may be associated with the activities of the foundation that are based on a profit-making purpose or other own economic interests of persons close to it (founders or board members). Courses are to be offered in all parts of the country in cooperation with other training institutions, in particular the Swiss conservatories. The range of courses is primarily intended to satisfy the training needs that exist in Switzerland.
