The purpose of the foundation is to continue financially and ensure the editing and regular publication of the swiss month (magazine for politics, business and culture) as far as possible in its current state. In doing so, the swiss month should continue to cultivate and maintain the spirit that has been established so far, namely by dealing with the following problems: a) Politics, fundamental political questions, national and international politics, comments on foreign policy, domestic political reviews, church politics, military questions, b) Economy, industry, agriculture , financial problems, planning, development aid, c) culture, European orientation, literature, art, music, philosophy. Within the framework of this objective, emphasis should be placed above all on a liberal attitude, maintaining the free economy, combating all collectivist or even communist tendencies, and on the freedom from purpose of literature, art and music. The swiss month has to refrain from any religious affiliation; international problems are to be dealt with from a Swiss as well as from a foreign point of view; special attention should also be paid to the economic difficulties and development aid for African, Asian and South American countries.
