Enabling a temporary stay at Eulerstrasse 25 in Basel for artistically or scientifically active people from all countries, advancing and realizing a project that is important to them, free from material constraints and influencing the intellectual and cultural life of Basel. Promotion and support of training and further education in the field of art and science, which, in the opinion of the Board of Trustees, is suitable to round off or supplement the main purpose of the Foundation. The Foundation enables the scholarship holders selected by it at its own discretion to stay free of charge at Eulerstrasse 25, Basel, for a certain period of time determined by the Board of Trustees, and can pay a monthly cash scholarship in an appropriate amount determined by it on a case-by-case basis. The foundation can also strive for its goals by making contributions towards the costs of preparing, processing, funding and publishing work that was created or worked on during the stay in Basel or that is otherwise related to the stay in Basel ( e.g. through contributions to the costs of preparing manuscripts or contributions to printing costs).
