Stiftung Chasa Chalavaina

The purpose of the foundation is to raise funds for the acquisition of the historically significant Chasa Chalavaina including the property belonging to it in Müstair, the acquisition, maintenance, expansion, renewal and restoration of the Chasa Chalavaina, taking due account of aspects of the preservation of historical monuments in cooperation with the preservation department of the Canton of Graubünden and research into their history. The foundation can rent or lease the Chasa Chalavaina for the operation of a hotel or for any other purpose. She can take out loans to finance her projects and encumber the Chasa Chalavaina property. In connection with Chasa Chalavaina, the foundation can set up subsidiaries, acquire, hold, encumber and dispose of holdings and finance, directly or indirectly, companies in which it has an interest. The foundation does not pursue any commercial purposes and does not seek any profit. As far as the funds of the foundation allow, the foundation Pro Kloster St. Johann in Müstair can also be funded.
