Stiftung Bruder Klaus

The Brother Klaus Foundation serves the intellectual content, as expressed in the letter from the hermit von Ranft to the council of Bern. The purpose of the foundation is to renew, strengthen and clarify this salary for the benefit of families, the political community, churches and parishes, primarily in Switzerland; the foundation takes care of publications that represent this content and give it new attention with regard to the questions of the time, and brings people who are concerned about these spiritual foundations with one another. In particular, the foundation offers the possibility of intellectual preparation times, organizes or promotes courses for people in positions of responsibility and supports research tasks and cultural efforts. It can also take other measures that appear to serve the purpose. Scientifically and ecclesiastically, the foundation is committed to Holy Scripture, which praises itself for the fact that it is completely clear, "that very certain and illuminating light, brighter than the sun itself" (Martin Luther).
