Stiftung SwissEngineering STV
Purpose
The purpose of the foundation is: 1. To promote the general understanding of the importance of technology, technical development and technical professions in business life, in particular by arranging and promoting contacts between universities and exponents of business, in particular with regard to the usefulness of technical training -Courses and with reference to economically interesting technical research and development projects at universities; the financial support or the accompaniment of technical projects of major importance in Switzerland. For the purpose of promoting the reputation of technical professions and technology in general, the foundation can organize innovation and research awards. 2. The granting of contributions and loans to promote training and further education for members of the SwissEngineering STV association through training, courses, conferences, excursions, etc., as well as for the acquisition of the associated aids. 3. The granting of all kinds of support contributions to active, honorary and veteran members of the SwissEngineering STV association who are in financial distress through no fault of their own, as well as their survivors. The foundation can delegate the performance of this task to the related foundation relief fund of the SwissEngineering STV association by means of a corresponding written performance agreement. 4. The purchase or rental of real estate, namely holiday apartments, or the corresponding granting of mortgages or loans for this purpose, for the purpose of leasing to the members of the association and their family members on socially favorable terms.
