It disseminates and anchors the Red Cross principles in the population. In particular, it offers services in the areas of relief, health care, integration and education. It is committed to decentralized operational structures and regional anchoring. It promotes cooperation between the organizations working on behalf of the SRC in the Canton of Bern. It supports cooperation with organizations acting on behalf of the SRC. It promotes cooperation with humanitarian organizations that pursue similar purposes as the SRC.
