Promote, develop and finance scientific research in the medical field in the fields of biotechnology, genetic diseases and the entire field of application of health ICT in Switzerland and abroad, and in particular: Purchase and donation of highly complex electro-medical equipment , with specific reference to oncological radiotherapy, considered indispensable in the treatment of tumor pathologies and at high cost, in favor of health structures with insufficient funds in Switzerland and abroad, in particular in Italy; Development of humanitarian projects in third world and developing countries; Promote clinical engineering services in the hospital network; Promote the convergence of technologies to support healthcare activities such as telemedicine, medical e-learing, medical robotics, cybernetics and neurotechnology, biotechnology, genetic engineering, bioengineering; Financing portals and telematic journals of medical interest; Promote and finance training also through scholarships to promote specialization in the study of the aforementioned sectors and the digitalization processes of clinical and e-health data. The foundation also has the purpose of promoting, developing and financing solidarity projects in favor of ethnic minorities whose cultural heritage is at risk and assistance for the provision of basic livelihoods and study programs for third world children.
