Max Bill/Georges Vantongerloo Stiftung
Purpose
The purpose of the foundation: to look after representative parts of the complete works of the two friendly and mutually inspiring artists Georges Vantongerloo (1886 - 1965) and Max Bill (1908 - 1994) in the foundation and to make them accessible to the public at home and abroad do; to receive Max Bill's library for scientific evaluation; to hold exhibitions of contemporary artists and other artistic events in the house at Rebhusstrasse 50, built by Max Bill, in Zumikon, and possibly elsewhere; To publish publications about contemporary artists; To award recognition and / or sponsorship prizes to creative people; to take up cultural workers as "artists in residence" at Haus Bill
