MAVA, Fondation pour la Nature et la Culture
Purpose
The foundation aims to promote the protection and sustainable management of nature, biodiversity and natural resources. It is also involved in projects to mitigate the consequences of climate change. It helps people and organizations working in this direction. It can accept requests for support from them and it can take initiatives to guide activities in these areas. The foundation will pursue its goal in Switzerland as well as abroad. The foundation will be able to carry out all the acts relating to its goal, in particular: - to lend its assistance and to be interested in any activity similar to its object; - acquire or build any buildings; - contract all loans and all credits; - request and receive any public or private goods or subsidies; - have establishments abroad; - conclude all useful agreements with public law corporations or private organizations. The foundation has a character of pure public utility and does not pursue any profit. The activity of the foundation within the framework of its purpose is specified in the internal regulations.

While we are actively investing in our current partners for impact and sustainability, we are currently not accepting any unsolicited proposals or requests for funding and our grant-making to all partners will end in 2022.
We will periodically review the situation but if opportunities do arise, we anticipate there will only be limited funding available for new proposals and these will be by invitation only.
