Maongozi-Foundation
Purpose
The foundation supports the following religious communities, which are based on the life and the rule of the order of St. Francis of Assisi, in the realization of their mission and their varied and changing tasks, namely the care of the sick, the disabled and the elderly as well as related children and young people on education and pastoral care, school and catechesis as well as house and administrative work: a) the Sisters of the Love of St. Francis in Mahenge, Tanzania (Mahenge Sisters); b) Dada Wadogo wa Mt. Franzisko wa Asizi, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania; c) the Sisters of Divine Providence from the Regulated Third Order of St. Francis (Baldegger Sisters).
