Kinderzirkus Robinson (Verein)
Purpose
The Robinson Children's Circus is a professionally run, cross-generational, socio-cultural institution in Zurich. It was founded in 1960 and with its circus school offers children, adolescents and young adults a meaningful leisure activity that promotes their physical and social skills and strengthens their self-confidence. The offers of the children's circus Robinson ideally combine physical activity and creative activity. The offers are basically open to all interested young people, regardless of their abilities and the origin, denomination and political views of their parents. All children and young people are encouraged and challenged according to their age, skills, needs and motivation. In the Robinson Children's Circus, both the positive experience of a community and the individual sense of achievement are important.
The Robinson children's circus promotes a sense of togetherness, lives the community and enables new, diverse encounters across generations, cultures and roles. In the Robinson Children's Circus, children, adolescents and adults meet each other with respect and respect. In the event of a conflict, constructive solutions are sought together. The Robinson Children's Circus is dependent on the cooperation of parents and volunteers as well as financial support from foundations, institutions or private individuals. Every form of support is valued at the Robinson Children's Circus.
SUPPORT
The children's circus Robinson association, based in Zurich, was founded in 1992. Its aim is to keep the Robinson Children's Circus in accordance with the mission statement. The association is politically and denominationally neutral and does not pursue commercial purposes, nor does it strive for profit. As a non-profit organization, the Robinson Children's Circus is tax exempt.
