International Cancer Foundation
Purpose
The Foundation's purpose is to support and promote activities to improve and further develop cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, care and follow-up care with the ultimate goal of saving lives and ensuring the best possible treatment is available to every cancer patient. Within its scope, the Foundation can provide financial contributions and practical support, in particular but not only promoting: best practices in the care of cancer patients; research and records; education, continuing and additional training and practical training; scholarships; public education and information campaigns; sharing of information, experiences and best practices; cooperation of specialists from different disciplines, universities and patient organizations.
