Fondazione Moncucchetto

The safeguarding of the territory in the Lugano area and its ecosystem, through the promotion of all effective measures for its conservation. The promotion of agriculture and forestry with particular emphasis on viticulture and fruit growing, as well as beekeeping and ornithology, as well as helping to maintain these activities, with special regard to the area known as "Moncucchetto". The support of youth projects and the help with scholarships and other grants, to young people who wish to devote themselves to the study of agriculture, in order to improve their training. The execution and promotion of seminars, courses, scientific studies and other activities suitable to promote in-depth study and research in the fields of the activities mentioned, as well as in that of natural therapies, medicinal herbs and palliative care. The Foundation may, in accordance with its purpose, merge with other foundations. The foundation is of public utility and is not for profit. A change of purpose can be foreseen on the basis of the applicable legislation.
