Fondation Michèle Berset

With the intention of the founders to preserve the humanitarian, social, ecological and cultural commitment of their daughter and sister Michèle Berset, who died on March 19, 2007 in Lausanne, the foundation aims to help and support organizations, institutions and projects who commit themselves in favor of AIDS-infected women and children, in particular in African or Asian countries, to support projects intended to provide educational, cultural or social assistance to children living in an immigrant situation in Switzerland or in the abroad, as well as projects at the national or international level intended to promote or achieve sustainable development. Aid can take various forms, such as financial support for widows or orphans, the purchase of medical or school equipment, subsidies for Swiss or foreign mutual aid organizations, etc. The foundation is not for profit and does not aim for any gain.
