FONDATION LOOM

The foundation fulfills its humanitarian purpose by supporting development and reconstruction projects to improve living conditions and preserve living spaces for women, girls and children, primarily in Asia, and in exceptional cases in other countries as well. It does this without taking into account belief and ethnicity and in doing so particularly promotes women's rights. The foundation supports ethnic-cultural projects that serve to maintain and disseminate cultural and artistic achievements. The projects are intended to help the women, girls and children concerned gain higher qualifications and a better record of performance, so that they can stabilize themselves and their families economically and lead a self-determined life on their own. The Fondation supports and promotes institutions with charitable, humanitarian or social goals. In particular, it can provide direct support, support foundations with the same or similar goals or participate in such and support existing and recognized institutions and projects. She can also initiate her own projects. The Fondation has a charitable character and is not for profit.
