Dr. Robert + Marlies Holzach - Stiftung
Purpose
The foundation pursues the two main purposes described below (lit. a and b) and a subordinate purpose (lit. c): a) Continuation of the previous social work of Dr. Robert Holzach throughout Switzerland through the promotion and financial support of young people in vocational training and further education who cannot receive financial support from their parents due to their modest circumstances: - in the form of grants for initial training at universities or technical colleges. - in the form of loans to bridge financial bottlenecks. b) Continuation of the previous cultural work of Dr. Robert Holzach in the canton of Thurgau through funding and financial support for projects to maintain, deepen and promote culture, lifestyle and understanding of history in the canton of Thurgau Within the framework of this foundation purpose, the foundation can make contributions to events and projects that are organized or accompanied by the Thurgauische Kulturstiftung Ottoberg, Ruberbaumstrasse 43, 8561 Ottoberg, or the Thurgauische Bodman-Stiftung, 8274 Gottlieben, or directly to persons and institutions that have received a commitment to support from one of the aforementioned foundations. c) Keeping the memory of Dr. Robert Holzach by sponsoring all kinds of book projects, supporting the creation of all kinds of documentations in all kinds of media (e.g. documentaries, databases, etc.), granting grants for all kinds of research papers, which are directly or indirectly related to the many in the estate of Dr. . Robert Holzach related presentations on financial and ethical issues, or from publishing work to the publication of the above-mentioned work. The in lit. c described partial purpose may claim a maximum of 1/4 of the budget of the foundation. The foundation is of a non-profit nature and pursues neither gainful nor self-help purposes. The foundation's sphere of activity should in principle remain limited to Switzerland. With the partial purpose according to lit. Before this, publications or documentation can also be distributed abroad.
