Access to funding from foundations can have a significant impact on the success of projects of non-profit organizations. In this seminar, you will learn about foundations as efficient instruments for fundraising in a practical and action-oriented way.
Led by communications, sponsorship and foundation consultant, Dr. Dr. Elisa Bortoluzzi Dubach, you will learn what foundations are and what you can achieve with the help of foundations. You will get an introduction to the peculiarities of the Swiss foundation system and an insight into working with founders and patrons. An overview of data, facts and figures of the Swiss foundation landscape completes the introduction and you will learn how to develop a list of contacts at funding foundations and what is expected from a professional partnership. After the course, you will be able to write a promising application on your own and to communicate competently with foundations and donors. Two presentations by top-class guest speakers from the world of foundations, Michaela Gasser, Ernst Göhner Foundation and Nela Bunjevac, LANDIS & GYR FOUNDATION, round off the course and you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas directly with specialists from the field.
